Converting Scanned Image in MS Word

Hey.

I've got some info scanned into ms word, but it appears as though its saved it as an image. Is there anyway to convert this into jaws readable text?

Yeah, the OCR on Jaws 13 might do it. I don't know if Word has the freedom import printer option or not but if it does, and if you have Openbook, you could try that as well. I think J13 will be your best bet though.

NVDA also offers an OCR plugin that does the same as Jaws 13 http://www.stormdragon.us/nvda/plugins/OCR.zip

Hey.

Thanks for the help. I'll check out that nvda plugin.

Unfortunately I am still on Jaws 11, so no ocr there.
